Welcome to my initiative - My&Ma Naturals!
I, Mythili, am supported by my mother, Malathi and my sister Manojna in this initiative.

This initiative came to my mind as I have always been very obsessive about healthy skin and hair. Fortunately, I had beautiful hair but pathetic skin. I was always a great fan of usage of natural skin care products. I have always experimented and experienced the goodness of a lot of natural and locally available ingredients right from my teenage - key among them were gram flour, green gram, multani mitti, licorice, aloe vera gel, fenugreek, almonds and a variety of oils like coconut, olive, almond and castor.

During this process I realized that you dont need expensive branded products for you to have beautiful and healthy skin. You just need the right product for your skin type that uses the right and purest form of ingredients, accompanied by good night's sleep, nutritious food, sufficient exercise.

To improve my knowledge on this topic and to quench my thirst for creativity, I must admit that internet has come to my aid. It would have been impossible for me to reach this stage without the online professional certification courses on making of lotions, creams, body butters, soaps, shampoo bars and aromatherapy.

When I benefit from something I have an urge to recommend it to others and that's how My&Ma Naturals has evolved. It so happened that I specifically formulated a soap-free face cleanser for my sister. She loved it so much so that she ditched some of her most expensive cosmetic cleansers. This motivated me to give my formulations to others who share my thoughts on this.

Key characteristics of My&Ma Naturals:
- we use 'A' grade oils in all our soap formulations
- we use 100% pure, cold pressed or organic oils in our skin care leave-on formulations
- we use 100% pure, steam distilled essential oils which have therapeutic value
- we use other ingredients like butters, gels, aloe vera juice, milks, clays, skin safe micas, fragrances and herbal powders sourced from renowned and certified sources

There is a notion that natural products are expensive, YES they are, due to the usage of purest form of ingredients.

Here at My&Ma Naturals, you find that the prices are not exorbitant but apt, as this is not business. This is an initiative taken to help people like me who always dream of having a flawless skin.

Generally, when it comes to skin care or personal care products most of us tend to get attracted to outer package, ads and claims made, rather than the inner substance. I, myself get very attracted to products which are colorful, full of fragrance and that come in rich glass packages, but realized after my research that fragrances and colors are the primary reason for skin allergies.
​
At My&Ma Naturals, you will not find fancy containers for your creams or fancy packaging for your soaps, but just apt to keep the product safe. You might find a few of them colorful, the color of which is either from any clay or activated charcoal or titanium dioxide or natural pigments and skin safe certified micas from the USA. All our products are SLS, SLES, Phthalate and Paraben free

By the way, I am a full time IT professional and also a mother of two beautiful daughters. I do this out of pure love and passion and whatever money I take in exchange for these products is only to fund the raw materials. My&Ma Naturals is a hobby which turned into my passion now.
