Why do I endorse using handmade soaps?

The simple answer is to have healthy skin, and guess what I achieved it only by using my Cold Process Handmade soaps!!!

Yes, most of us have this misconception that soaps are not good for skin as they have high pH value. Mind you, our skin has a tendency to self adjust the pH. So soaps actually don't harm the skin!

Knowingly or unknowingly, many turn to bathing bars which are pH balanced. Bathing bars are not actually soaps. They are made with surfactants like SLS and SLES which might be harmful in the longer run. But many of them turn to these as they smell wonderful, lather really well, makes skin instantly smooth and are cost effective. I was also one of those 'many', but soon realized that the instant effect is not long lasting.

I can definitely say and challenge that Handmade CP soaps made with the right formulation are much much more better than any commercial cleansers available in the market

Main benefits that I noticed by using my soaps are as below:

1. Soap is the purest form of cleanser that is available on earth

2. I know what is exactly going into my soap. I have full control of the ingredients I use

3. It is environment friendly. There are no traces of the product left after usage, in our environment

4. It is a zero waste product, means I don't need to package it in plastic bottles unlike body washes, so am helping my planet to breathe by reducing plastic waste

5. My skin is more healthier, free of acne, spots and blemishes, looks much younger and has a natural glow, from the time I used my soaps

6. Last but not the least, I am addicted to soap making and do not want to be de-addicted... LOL...

I wish all the soap makers - "Happy Soaping" and endorse more users to make this shift towards natural cold process handmade soaps
